For more than 15 years we have worked with different builders to build Lafferty mandolins. Some of those were made in USA and some in China. We found it difficult to get a consistent supply of quality instruments. In 2025 we found a small team of builders in China that were building high quality instruments and willing to do custom instruments for us.
