Inspired by the innovators and pioneers of acoustic music in the United States, the “Big Mon” design is a tribute to those intent on pushing boundaries while maintaining traditions. The Northfield “Big Mon” Mandolin is something was created in an effort to try and create a little more mid range and bass response, with a nice airy sound. It was developed to have a distinct voice–different from both the Standard A and F models.
