The Gibson F-5G takes the iconic F-5 design and modernizes it for today’s mandolin players. Crafted from beautifully figured red maple back and sides, paired with a carved Sitka spruce top, this mandolin delivers rich, resonant tone with outstanding acoustic clarity.

Player-focused features include an unbound ebony fingerboard with a smooth 14″ radius and a short fingerboard extension for effortless playing. The nut is crafted from mother of pearl and measures 1 3/16” for comfortable string spacing. Classic mother-of-pearl dot inlays add elegant detail, while the custom transparent ebony burst pops!

Built for both tone and style, the F-5G features an ebony bridge, Grover tuners for precise tuning stability, and comes complete with a protective hardshell case.
