2001 Flatiron Festival Mandolin

Flatiron Festival-F Model Carved Top Mandolin (2001), made in Nashville, TN. sunburst top, shaded maple back and sides finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; maple neck with ebony fingerboard, SKB case.

This Gibson-made Flatiron Festival is a now-discontinued Nashville version of the mid-line mandolin series, intended as a professional quality F-style instrument (similar to the F-5G) without the high-end trimmings. This one has been played and shows some light wear. A very fine mandolin; well broken-in with an excellent sound for the price.
