The F-5G is a Modern Collection version of Gibson’s iconic F-5 design. Tuned to the needs of modern mandolin players, upgraded with neck binding, back binding, and a red spruce top. The neck and body are made from figured red maple and are coupled with a carved red spruce top. The F-5G features refreshed specifications, contours, and construction for optimal acoustic response. Finished in Traditional Burst gloss nitrocelulose lacquer, a hardshell case is included.
