Handmade by Steve Hinde in his workshop in Iowa since 2002. Hinde instruments feature the highest grades of materials for construction. These mandolins feature hot hide glue for most of the construction, especially anything that is in the sound box. Steve prefers use of a varnish finish to give his instruments a thin flexible finish that is durable. On the tops he uses a french polish.
